SanaClis joins White Winters to help protect the future of winter sports

The global contract research organisation SanaClis strengthens its commitment to skiing, youth development and environmental sustainability through the White Winters programme.

Bratislava, Slovakia – SanaClis, a global full-service contract research organization with an integrated clinical supply chain and long-term supporter of alpine skiing, has joined the White Winters programme, an initiative developed by Ski Sport Finland and Solved inspired by the impact program of the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS).

White Winters connects ski federations, resorts, event organisers, athletes and companies to develop practical solutions that help secure the future of winter sports in the face of climate change and biodiversity loss. Through collaboration and innovation, the programme works to ensure that future generations can continue to enjoy snowy winters and winter sports.

Through its CSR activities, SanaClis supports initiatives that promote youth development, education, healthy lifestyles and community engagement. These values have also shaped the company's growing involvement in winter sports through partnerships with ski federations, athletes and grassroots programmes, including support for events such as the annual Zampa Cup. This builds on its recently announced partnership with Ski Sport Finland’s Fearless Finns alpine and freestyle national teams for the 2026–2027 and 2027–2028 seasons, further strengthening its presence in international skiing.

"At SanaClis, we believe that long-term success is built on responsibility towards people, communities and the environment,” said Alexander Fetkovsky, CEO of SanaClis. "Our support for skiing has always been about creating opportunities for future generations. Joining White Winters is a natural extension of that commitment and allows us to contribute to protecting the environment that makes winter sports possible."

Slovak World Cup alpine skier Andreas Žampa welcomed the partnership.

"As skiers, we see firsthand how important our winters and mountains are," said Žampa. "SanaClis has been a genuine supporter of skiing, young athletes and events like the Zampa Cup. Their decision to join White Winters demonstrates a long-term commitment to the future of our sport."

The White Winters programme has attracted participation from ski associations, resorts and companies committed to improving the sustainability of winter sports and mountain destinations.

"We are delighted to welcome SanaClis to White Winters," said Santtu Hulkkonen, CEO of Solved and Programme Director of White Winters. "Their support for athletes, federations and youth development makes them a valuable addition to our international network. Protecting the future of winter sports requires collaboration across industries, and we hope their example will inspire others to join the movement."

SanaClis also hopes its participation will encourage more companies, particularly in Slovakia and across Central Europe, to engage in sustainability initiatives that support winter sports and mountain communities.

Through its participation in White Winters, SanaClis reinforces its commitment to responsible business and the long-term future of skiing - from children taking their first turns in local ski resorts all the way to athletes competing on the FIS World Cup circuit.
